Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
Shorai Tech Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “snapr”) operates the pre-launch website at snapr.co.in (the “Site”). snapr is our consumer brand; Shorai Tech Private Limited is the company behind it, formerly operating as GreenBox. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site’s waitlist forms, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this pre-launch Site. Our app and full marketplace, once launched, will have their own privacy notice covering how we handle data there.
We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the rules made under them.
By using the Site or joining a waitlist, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Shorai Tech Private Limited is the company that decides how information collected through this Site is used.
Registered office: 235, 13th Cross, Indiranagar 2nd Stage, Bengaluru 560038, Karnataka, India
CIN: U63999KA2026PTC227774

2. What we collect
We run two waitlists: one for customers and one for kitchens. We ask only for what we need to invite you to the launch and to plan where we open first.
If you join as a customer, we ask for:
- Your email address, so we can send you a launch invitation and updates.
- The area in Bengaluru where you are based, so we can decide which areas to open in first.
We do not ask customers for their name or phone number on this Site.
If you join as a kitchen, we ask for:
- Your kitchen’s name, to identify the business.
- A contact person’s name, so we know who to speak to.
- A phone number, for onboarding calls.
- An email address, for onboarding and updates.
- The area in Bengaluru where you are based, to plan rider coverage.
- The type of food you serve, to plan onboarding.
- Your FSSAI licence number, which is optional, to help us confirm your kitchen is licensed.
For both forms, our system automatically records the time you gave consent, the page you signed up from, an internal record ID, and the time the record was created. We keep these as proof of consent and for our own record-keeping. By design, we do not collect or store your IP address or your browser’s user agent when you fill in a form. Our hosting provider may separately keep short-term technical logs of requests to the Site, which can include IP addresses, for security and performance. See “Who else handles your information” below.
3. Why we collect it
We use the information you give us only to invite you to the snapr launch, keep you updated about it, and plan where and how we launch. We do not use it to show you advertising, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
4. How you give consent, and how to withdraw it
Under each form we show this line: “By joining, you agree to snapr contacting you about launch. See the privacy page.” No box is ticked for you in advance; you give consent by submitting the form. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us and asking us to remove you from the relevant waitlist. Once we do, we will stop contacting you about the launch and will delete or anonymise your record as described under “How long we keep your information.”
Contact email for withdrawing consent: hello@snapr.co.in
5. Who else handles your information
- Our database provider stores your waitlist record.
- Our hosting provider serves the Site and the signup forms, and may keep its own short-term technical logs of requests, which can include IP addresses.
- We send ourselves one internal notification each time someone joins a waitlist. That notification contains only counts of new signups, never your name, email, phone number or area.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
6. Where your information is stored
Your waitlist information is stored on servers located in Singapore, so it is processed outside India. Indian data protection law allows personal data to be sent outside India except to countries the Government of India specifically restricts; no such restriction currently applies to Singapore. We require our database provider to protect your information to a standard consistent with this policy.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep your waitlist information until the earliest of: you ask us to delete it, 12 months from the date you joined the waitlist, or, if you go on to create an account in the snapr app, the point at which your information is carried over to and governed by the app’s own privacy notice. When we no longer need it for these purposes, we delete it or make it anonymous.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, name another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or cannot act, and raise a grievance with us. We do not currently offer a self-service way to do this. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, as the Act provides.
9. Children
This Site and its waitlists are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has joined a waitlist, tell us and we will delete the record.
10. Cookies and analytics
This Site does not currently use cookies, analytics or advertising tools of any kind. If that changes, we will update this policy to describe what is added and why.
11. Security and data breaches
The database holding your information is not reachable directly from a browser and is accessible only to a small number of people at Shorai Tech Private Limited today. Our application logs do not record your personal data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but if a breach affecting your information occurs, we will take reasonable steps to contain it and will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site and our plans develop. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will highlight it on the Site.
13. The snapr app
This policy covers only this pre-launch website. When the snapr app and marketplace launch, they will have their own privacy notice, covering payments, orders and deliveries.
